Benjy, you told me to let you know if I heard anything. I...I guess I don't know if this is anything or not, but it's weird, so...

I got an unsigned owl today. Okay, well, it was signed "a friend", but it didn't say who the friend was. I didn't recognize the handwriting and I couldn't see any traces of spellwork on it except the usual wards to me.

The letter said "Osborn Street, Whitechapel. Keep an eye out for Jack the Ripper.", and Jack the Ripper was underlined. Do you think I should go poke around Whitechapel? I guess...I don't have any idea what this means at all, I've never even been to Whitechapel, nor do I know who Jack the Ripper is (sounds like a testy bulldog). But I figured you might have some sort of idea, so...

Don't suppose anyone would be willing to put me up for the night?

One of the lads I share my flat with sent word that he was bringing a bird home and could we all split for the evening, please. He's a nice bloke and I'd like to get out of his way if at all possible, it's been a while since he's had any luck with the ladies.

I wouldn't want to impose on anyone, so if it'd be any trouble, don't bother yourself...I'll just kip on the couch for the night if you're kind enough to welcome me in. I promise I don't eat much and I'm not loud.

My gig today went off like a bomb! The crowd was just top, and I played the best I'd played in a long time. Thanks to all you who came out and supported me, means a lot.

The rest of the festival's been ace so far too. There're some really great acts around, I'm just glad I get free tickets as part of playing.

I'd just like to give big thank you to anyone who took a stroll down Diagon today round lunch time. I was busking on my lunch break and made nearly five galleons in small change, more than enough to buy something other than ice cream for food as well as some new guitar strings on the way home. So, yeah, thank you!
